Hi, I'm Ben
I build websites for local businesses: the mechanic you trust, the café on the corner, the plumber who picks up the phone. I started ananke to help them look as good online as they are in person.
ananke is just me. I take on a small number of businesses at a time, so each one gets my full attention.

No account managers or hand-offs. The person you talk to is the person who builds your site.

No jargon. I explain what I am doing and why, in words that make sense.

You own the domain, the hosting and the content. I make it work well and keep it that way.
Why local businesses
Good work deserves to be found
Franchises have marketing teams and big budgets behind their websites. Most local businesses have neither, and it often shows. There is no good reason for that gap. A clear, professional site comes down to care, not size, and local businesses already have plenty of that.
